About this Haier H32S80EFX list
Header: Haier H32S80EFX (ro.product.model "Haier MatrixTV CE", product HRT56EU, device deto), Google TV 14 (API 34)
firmware UKNV.260302.001, MediaTek (CVTE board), armeabi-v7a, Thailand. 1.4 GB RAM (MemTotal about 1.38 GB). 1920x1080 panel, UI rendered at 1280x720 (wm size override), 213 dpi. Stock launcher: com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx (pass it as STOCK_LAUNCHER). Live TV: com.mediatek.wwtv.tvcenter (.nav.TurnkeyUiMainActivity). Already disabled from the factory: com.google.android.marvin.talkback, it.hon.onboarding. Tested the same day on one set, with the real remote: Home opens the new launcher, Netflix / YouTube launch, HDMI 1 and Live TV switch from the launcher's Inputs menu, voice button works. The home screen on the test set was a small custom launcher built from PROMPT.md, not launcher/ from this repo; the package list does not depend on which launcher replaces Home. Not a multi-day soak. KEEP, even though the names look like bloat (components checked with dumpsys package): - com.haier.appmanager.dispatcher: GlobalKeyReceiver + HotKeyService (BIND_TV_INPUT), remote hot keys. - com.haier.hkcfac, com.haier.tv.hmagicboard: global key receivers (hmagicboard also sound settings). - com.mediatek.autopair, com.haier.bt_pair_tips: Bluetooth remote pairing. - com.telink.lt.ota: remote (Telink BLE) firmware. - com.cvte.tv.at, com.cvte.autobacklight, com.at.factory.*: factory / backlight, not checked further. - com.mediatek.wwtv.tvcenter, com.mediatek.tvinput, com.mediatek.tv.service, com.mediatek.wwtv.setupwizard, com.google.android.tv.inputplayer, com.mediatek.wwtv.mediaplayer (USB media). Quirks on this firmware, all checked on the TV: - USB debugging on: network ADB answered on port 5555 straight away; ro.adb.secure=1 (authorisation prompt). - pm install of a debug-signed APK declaring HOME works (pushed + pm install -r, adb install not needed). - Home goes to launcherx (priority 2), then setupwraith/.RecoveryActivity (priority 1); a third-party HOME filter is priority 0, so set-home-activity alone does nothing. Disabling only the RecoveryActivity component is refused for the shell (SecurityException), so the whole setupwraith package goes. The test set was on Ethernet; on Wi-Fi, check `cmd wifi list-networks` first, setupwraith owns a network saved during setup and disabling it deletes that network. - Three tuner inputs: TunerInputService/HW0 (digital, DVB-T2), CableInputService/HW0, AnalogInputService/HW1. A launcher that picks the first tuner by label lands on analog and shows no channels; prefer the digital one. HDMI 1-3 = com.mediatek.tvinput/.hdmi.HDMIInputService/HW5-HW7, AV = composite HW2. - Open inputs with an explicit component (com.mediatek.wwtv.tvcenter/.nav.TurnkeyUiMainActivity, ACTION_VIEW on TvContract.buildChannelUriForPassthroughInput): a preloaded TrueID app also claims channel VIEW intents. - HDMI and Live TV screenshots come out black (protected video layer).
Before you run it: every package below is disabled, not uninstalled. Comment out (prefix with #) any line for an app you use. Never disable the Play Store, Play Services, the on-screen keyboard or the TV input services that play HDMI. Switch USB debugging off when you are done.

Apply the Haier H32S80EFX debloat
Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:
export TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 # your TV's IP address
tools/venv/bin/python -I tools/tv.py --probe
tools/disable.sh examples/haier-h32s80efx/debloat.txt Then build and install the clean launcher, which makes itself the default Home and rolls back if it fails:
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 launcher/build-and-install.sh Prefer to let an assistant do it? Paste the cleanyourtv prompt into Claude Code with "Haier H32S80EFX" as the model; it reads this list, checks each package on your TV and asks before anything that depends on your preferences.
Restore the Haier H32S80EFX
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 tools/restore.sh examples/haier-h32s80efx/debloat.txt com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx The restore script replays the state recorded before the change, so Home goes back to the launcher that owned it. More in the restore guide and the Google TV debloat guide.
