About this XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector list

Header: XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector (model XK03H, device xgimigalileo, MediaTek), Android TV 11 (SDK 30)

build RT.3.24.329 release-keys. Stock launcher: com.google.android.tvlauncher (the only HOME claimant besides Settings' FallbackHome; setupwraith does not claim HOME on this firmware). Nothing was disabled from the factory. Launcher notes (applied and verified on a real unit on 2026-10-19, including a reboot): - The Inputs menu needs `"input_action": "com.xgimi.action.hdmiPlayer"` in the theme (or input_action in config.xml): XGIMI's HDMI player (com.xgimi.xhplayer/.InputActivity) does not answer the standard ACTION_VIEW on the passthrough channel URI, so HDMI1 otherwise does nothing. - No tuner: set `"live_tv_package": ""`. Only HDMI1 is registered, although tvinput has 3 services. - Projector settings (keystone, focus, picture) stay reachable: Settings pill -> Projector Settings. - Tailscale does not come back after a reboot by itself. Making it the always-on VPN fixes that: settings put secure always_on_vpn_app com.tailscale.ipn; settings put secure always_on_vpn_lockdown 0 (takes effect at the next boot). With `"vpn_app": "com.tailscale.ipn"` the network pill shows a red "VPN off" badge while it is down and opens Tailscale when pressed. - The default Backdrop screensaver is disabled below; point the screensaver at com.android.dreams.basic/.Colors (or another dream) or it has nothing to show. DO NOT DISABLE on XGIMI (projector hardware and inputs): com.xgimi.autokst # auto keystone correction (system uid) com.xgimi.windowsystem # keystone/window service (kstActivity, WondowService) com.xgimi.tof # ToF autofocus calibration com.xgimi.tvinput # HDMI 1-3 TV input services com.xgimi.xhplayer # HDMI input player + game mode com.xgimi.bluetoothservice # Bluetooth remote service com.xgimi.misckey # remote keys, focus/keystone shortcuts, wall-colour adaptation com.xgimi.uiconfiguration # global key receiver, power listener com.xgimi.xrmservice # picture/sound adaptation, brightness boost com.xgimi.soundermodeservice # Bluetooth speaker mode com.xgimi.xgimiservice # core XGIMI system service com.xgimi.simpservice # install service, purpose unclear: kept com.xgimi.overseas.xgimiatvbootwizard # first-boot wizard: kept, setup wizards can hold Home or provisioning

Before you run it: every package below is disabled, not uninstalled. Comment out (prefix with #) any line for an app you use. Never disable the Play Store, Play Services, the on-screen keyboard or the TV input services that play HDMI. Switch USB debugging off when you are done.

Apply the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector debloat

Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:

export TV_HOST=192.168.1.50   # your TV's IP address
tools/venv/bin/python -I tools/tv.py --probe
tools/disable.sh examples/xgimi-horizon-s-pro/debloat.txt

Then build and install the clean launcher, which makes itself the default Home and rolls back if it fails:

TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 launcher/build-and-install.sh

Prefer to let an assistant do it? Paste the cleanyourtv prompt into Claude Code with "XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector" as the model; it reads this list, checks each package on your TV and asks before anything that depends on your preferences.

Restore the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector

TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 tools/restore.sh examples/xgimi-horizon-s-pro/debloat.txt

The restore script replays the state recorded before the change, so Home goes back to the launcher that owned it. More in the restore guide and the Android TV debloat guide.

XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector debloat FAQ

Is it safe to debloat the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector?

The XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector list only uses pm disable-user, so nothing is uninstalled or flashed. Every package can be turned back on with the cleanyourtv restore script or from the TV's own Settings → Apps page. Apply it in small batches and check the TV between them.

How many packages does this XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector list disable?

22 packages, grouped as: Store demo, factory and test tools; Telemetry, feedback and auto-installs; Google content and preloads; Streaming apps (off by choice; YouTube kept) and more. Comment out any line you want to keep before running it.

Does the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector list work on a similar model?

Often, if the platform matches. Compare the device codename and firmware in the list header with Settings → About on your TV. The cleanyourtv prompt also checks each package on your own set before touching it, so a near match is a good starting point.

Will the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector get the Apple TV-style launcher?

Yes. After debloating, cleanyourtv builds its small native launcher (about 300 KB) and makes it the default Home, rolling back automatically if Home does not land on it.

How do I undo the XGIMI Horizon S Pro projector debloat?

Run TV_HOST=<tv ip> tools/restore.sh examples/xgimi-horizon-s-pro/debloat.txt. It replays the record saved before the change. Full steps are in the restore guide.
